The Game
The Navigators are coming off a 9-5 win last night in Keene, which snapped a season-long four-game losing streak. Tonight, they will take on the Laconia Muskrats for the fourth time this season. The Navs lost 3-1 on July 4 at Laconia, but are 2-1 against the divisional foe on the season. Laconia was off last night after losing 10-4 to Danbury on Thursday night.

Starting Pitchers
NS – LHP Michael Johnson (1-4, 3.60)
LAC – RHP Charlie Steinman (0-3, 3.04)
Tonight’s starters have both been perhaps been plagued by poor run support this season. Lefthander Michael Johnson (Dartmouth) carries his 1-4 record and 3.60 ERA into tonight’s matchup for North Shore, and his four losses have come in hsi last four starts. All six of his starts this year have come on the road, meaning tonight’s marks his first start at home of the season. In those six starts, he has gone five innings each time and allowed two runs or less in four of those outings. Righty Charlie Steinman, a sophomore out of Georgetown, will start for Laconia and is 0-3 despite a 3.04 ERA. He got the no decision his last time out after allowing two earned over 6.2 innings with seven strikeouts in a 7-6 victory.
