Pregame: Navigators @ Newport

The Game
The North Shore Navigators enter tonight’s matchup with the Newport Gulls one game up on the division foes, meaning Newport can pull even in the standings with a victory at home while North Shore also has an opportunity to pad its first-place lead on the road. The Navigators were off last night and have won six of their last eight to catapult into first while the Gulls, who defeated Old Orchard 7-5 last night, have dropped two of their last three. The Sanford Mainers are just 1.5 games back of North Shore and New Bedford sits just 2.5 games back.
