Pregame: Raging Tide @ Navigators

The Game
The North Shore Navigators have won four of their last five to catapult to the top of the Eastern Division standings at 11-9, although four teams are separated by just one game in the standings. There is perhaps a small divisional imbalance in the NECBL, as East teams have compiled a 46-56 record (.450 win percentage) while Western Division teams are 58-46 (.558) this season. The Tide has the league’s worst record at 4-13, but they did defeat Laconia last night 4-2.

Infielder Cody Dent (Florida) will make his Navigators debut tonight, hitting ninth and playing shortstop. The corners will look the same as they did on Monday night in Laconia, as Conner Mach (Missouri) is again playing third base and Eric Williams (Columbia) will again be at first. Clinton Harwick (Point Loma), who has manned the shortstop position the last few weeks, slides over to second base tonight.
