The Navigators overcame an early 3-0 deficit before scoring nine unanswered runs on their way to a 9-3 win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide on Tuesday night. The win was their second straight and third in four games.
Notre Dame freshman Eric Jagielo had a monster game as the Navs designated hitter, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and four RBI. Matt Boulter and Mike Dunster both had two hits apiece, and starting pitcher Carter Watson got the win on the mound after allowing three runs on six hits over five innings.
Jagielo tied the game at 3-3 with a bases clearing double in the fifth. He later added another RBI on a single in North Shore’s five-run sixth inning.
