postGame: All-Americans @ Navigators

Navs_Official_LogoThe North Shore Navigators, behind a complete game shutout from LHP Jason Markovitz, defeated the Lowell All-Americans by the score of 1 to 0.

…wow.  markovitz was simply unbelievable.  adam herter tossed two six-inning complete games last season: a win on july 23 against the sanford mainers and a loss on july 30 against the holyoke blue sox.  markovitz, tonight, threw the first nine-inning complete game in navigators franchise history.  he also recorded the first complete game shutout and first nine-inning complete game two-hitter in team history.  markovitz also broke the record for most innings pitched in a game, which was previously set by adam herter who threw 8.1 innings on june 26 against the manchester silkworms…
