postGame: Navigators @ Swamp Bats

Navs_Official_LogoThe North Shore Navigators (9-3) defeated the Keene Swamp Bats (6-5) by the score of 12 to 4 at Alumni Field in Keene, New Hampshire on Saturday night.

…12 runs, 14 hits, and good pitching.  that seems like a recipe for success.  a five-run second, including mike lebel’s first home run of the year, and a three-run third set the tone for this one, as the navs just keep on rolling.  patrick brady and john hill collected three hits a piece and mike dowd scored three times in the rout.  joe medeios made his navs debut and recorded rbi singles in his each of his first two at-bats.  the pitching was excellent again, with jason markovitz allowing four runs through six innings while jim schult and kevin chapman combined for three scoreless innings out of the bullpen…

The Navigators remain in first place in the East Division, and are now 3-0 against West Division opponents.
