postGame: Mainers @ Navigators

The North Shore Navigators (6-2) lost for only the second time this year, falling 3-0 to the Sanford Mainers (3-3).  Jeff Tardiff pitched six strong innings while fanning eight, but three unearned runs did in the Navigators, who were shut out for the first time this year.  Starter Colin Snow pitched 5.1 innings of scoreless baseball and was followed by solid relief from Chad O’Connor, Drew Leninger, and  Tyler Mizenko.

…defense miscues did in the navs tonight.  the pitching was still strong, and they’ll get back at it tomorrow as they finish up a three-game homestand sunday night in their first ever game against the new bedford bay sox…
